We covered a lot of French speaking countries and cultures worldwide. I don’t remember a lot of specifics, but we definitely didn’t just focus on Canada or Europe, it was the whole broad spectrum. I think that I have a good knowledge of different French cultures thanks to my French teachers. It was especially my teachers who were of colour who taught me a lot about different cultures, including their own. For example, I had two Senegalese teachers who brought their own culture into the classroom. One teacher brought in cultural artifacts during geography class and we learned a lot about Senegalese culture.
